From consultation to design and fabrication we are set up to provide an unparalleled experience. We personally follow each step of the process, from the forest to the finish product. We are obsessed with wood, and the quality of our products. We have learned a great deal in the last 30 years, and continue to learn more every day. About Pat Hunt

This old house magazine coverStarting a flooring business while still in college, Pat Hunt founded Hunt Hardwood in 1987. Several years after graduation, he had transitioned the company from flooring installation to the niche of custom wood products spanning from a vast array of flooring to project specific needs. With 30 years in the industry, he has the knowledge, network and experience to add value to just about any wood project you are working on. His experience and expertise in the wood industry along with his integrity are the foundation of the thriving business and excellent reputation of Hunt Hardwood.

Born and raised in Lexington, he resides there with his wife and four children. Walking down the Minuteman bike path you are likely to see him out on his backyard skating rink with the kids in the winter time or planting tomatoes in the summer. Pat is an avid ice hockey & golf enthusiast and still finds time to stay active through the New England seasons at the rink or on the course. His love for trees inspires his everyday work and living only a mile from the showroom allows him to balance both work and family, still leaving time for his various hobbies.
