Mixed Softwood Thresher

This historic material represents the slow process of threshing wheat and oat grain.

Full of character from years of oxen and wagon traffic, threshing floor captures the true essence of a reclaimed product.

Resawn Hemlock

Dense virgin hemlock forest once covered a large portion of the northeastern United States. As the industrial revolution powered along the demand for hemlock timbers increased. Millions of hemlock trees were stripped of their precious bark for use in the tannery industry and milled for lumber.

Valued for its rot/insect resistance and long straight timbers the hemlock was used consistently in barn construction.

White Pine New Face

Known as the King Georges Tree in the time of British rule. The towering virgin white pine forest of the new world were prized by the british navy fleets for their ship mast. Post British rule the mighty white pine was used extensively for timber frame construction. Historic barns of the northeast still hold these virgin timbers and boarding today. Unlike todays forest, the virgin forest were dense canopy and slow growing. The result is a product never to be seen again. The density, rich color and timber size make old white pine an incredibly historic flooring product.

White Pine Original (Pumpkin Pine)
